2011-03-02     HCHA 2011 Annual Dues and Open board Positions

Dear Homeowners,  The annual dues obligation for our Hunter’s Creek Homeowner’s Association shall remain at the assessment amount of $300, and is now due.  The Board kindly asks that you send payment of the amount due by 30 April 2011. Please make checks payable to Hunters Creek Homeowners Association and send to P.O. Box 707, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062.  Please see the "Dues" Tab for additional information.

2011-01-06     HCHA 2011 Annual Meeting Set for Wednesday February 16th

On Wednesday, February 16th , 2011, and in accordance with HCHA By-Laws, the Hunter’s Creek Homeowners Association will have it’s “Annual Membership Meeting” at the Gloucester County Library on Rt. 45 in Mullica Hill, from 7:30-8:45 PM, for the purposes of conducting HCHA business.

An Important Note Regarding Snow Plowing – Public Works asks that any resident who lives in a development without curbing to please mark their property at the edge of the pavement with some sort of visible marker that is at least 36 inches tall before a snowstorm......See the 2010-10-01 news update for more details.

2010-11-03     HCHA Streetlight update

Atlantic City Electric repaired the Water View Drive streetlight Wednesday afternoon 11/03.   Atlantic City Electric said it will take a little longer to fix the Hunters Creek Circle streetlight out near the basin because it has a problem with the underground wires.

2010-10-02     HCHA Detention Basin Entry or Gate Lock Tampering will be reported to the Police as Vandalism

HCHA Community, The HCHA board has locks on our detention basin gates to keep our community and children safe.   Please contact any board member if you have a non urgent need to enter a detention basin.   Any tampering of the locks or entry in the basins will be treated as vandalism and immediately reported to the Police.

2010-09-05     Labor Day 2010 Trash/Recycling Collection Schedule

HOLIDAY TRASH / RECYCLING COLLECTION is Tuesday September 7th for our neighborhood.

2010-05-13     Trash Collection - Vegetative Waste and Wood:

For trash pickup, the following items are collected: REGULAR HOUSEHOLD TRASH, FURNITURE, CARPET, GLASS WINDOWS, GLASS DOORS, AND TELEVISIONS. Trash containers should not exceed 35-gallon capacity and 50-lb. weight.  

Vegetative Waste and Wood:  Grass, brush, leaves, tree branches, bushes, yard and hedge trimmings, and weeds should be composted or may be taken to the Township Recycling Center if properly bagged and bundled. Call 856-223-1308 for information.

The Recycling Center, located at 151 Colson Lane, is open on Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm year-round. It is also open on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5-7 pm from April through October.

2010-05-13     2010 Homeowners Dues Assessment:

The 2010 assessment is $300 and is due on June 30, 2010. 

The 2011 assessment will be due on March 31, 2011.  The 2011 assessment value will be determined by the 2011 board.  Please contact the HCHA Treasurer or other Board Members with questions.

2010-02-18     HCHA Annual meeting Tuesday February 23rd 7:00 PM:

The Board would like to remind you that the HCHA Annual Meeting will be held at the Gloucester County Library in Mullica Hill on Tuesday February 23rd.  The meeting will start at 7:00 PM in Meeting Room A.

2010-01-21     Homeowner Surveys:

The Board would like to see more surveys from the homeowners.  We have extended the date to return surveys until February 01, 2010.  Please contact a Board member if you need a replacement survey.

2010-01-21     Morning Glory Circle and Hunters Creek Circle Street lights:

The Board called the appropriate contacts to replace the Hunter's Creek Circle missing stop sign and repair the Morning Glory Circle street light in late December.  The stop sign was repaired quickly and the Morning Glory Street light was repaired on Jan 20th.   The Board had also called about the Hunter's Creek Circle basin Street light in Mid January and will keep this site updated with the status.

2010-01-05     Snow Removal Update:

The Harrison Township Department of Public Works is responsible for street snow removal.  The Hunters Creek Homeowners Association (HCHA) is responsible for managing the community common area sidewalk snow removal contracts.  You can help participate in this process as part of the Landscaping Committee as listed on the Committees tab. 

A member of the HCHA Board met with Mrs. Carole Rieck, our Township's Business Administrator, on 12/21 to express our dissatisfaction of the Township's 12/19 snow removal on our association's streets.  The Board is also internally reviewing a letter that will be given to the Township and the Mayor to formally convey our complaint and ask for a response as to what steps the Township will take in the future to prevent a reoccurrence.

2010-01-05     Recyclable Cardboard:

All Hunter's Creek resident's are urged to please tie all their cardboard recycles to prevent the cardboard form blowing onto other neighbors lawns and properties. Thanks.

2009 Q4 Financial Audit

 

Here is a message from Jack Giovinco about the financial audit.  Please contact Jack with questions or comments.:  "After much anticipation, attached is our final audit letter from the CPA. As you will see, he has given us a clean bill of health and some good suggestions. I particularly like the recommendation to utilize quickbooks to track and organize our expenses."

Sidewalk Safety Issues Resolved

The Board had the Water View Drive sidewalk safety issues resolved.

Hunters Creek Circle Stop Sign and Morning Glory Circle Street light

The Board called the appropriate contacts to replace the missing stop sign and repair the street light.  The stop sign was repaired.    Atlantic Electric Company will take seven to ten days to repair the light.
